Any information about AWP nerf available in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Hi guys

I found this game quite exciting played all edition of the game and loved it absolutely but here I want to is there any confirm news about the availability of AWP nerf in this game I mean, the fact, I don't concerned what the vets say about this but , AWP is game breaking overwhelmed, and I shouldn't have included in the modded servers just to get away from it . well not precisely modded server although you get the point .

Does Anyone have any news about nerf?

I think it would not be included in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive perhaps a bit increase in price although damage-wise it won't be changed any thing

i just no played on no AWP/Auto servers, everybody knows the Scout is the talent sniper rifle. Them nerfing the awp would create it terribly unrealistic...

Like THB, if you get shot roughly anyplace with a 50cal, your should be deceased! And , who doesn't love a superior awp war Its hilarious when it gets so reach that the entire server just picks up an awp. Its not game breaking overpowered. flash bangs and smokes are your friend scrub.

If we're talking about the practicality then each weapon presented should be enough one-shot to take you out.

You are saying Very true, however they couldn't ever do this in an First Person Shooting ..

It would totally blow to be one shot by a deagle or something

But certainly, the awp must stay its one shot kill category. If you create it so its not, that take away any realism in the game in any way
This is one of the cause I love CS, you can't be lay on the ground bleeding out than stand back up a few seconds afterward with full Health Power . You start with 100 Health Power and you got to make that last long

Well Counter-Strike: Global Offensive shows how actual life weapons appear realistically, how the SAS, SEALS, GSG-9, and GIGN appear realistically, the gameplay isn't realistic and you shouldn't be means of that in your argument except I am wrong and we are in the Red Orchestra forum.

It’s really funny but doesn't matter what, I was just saying, awp has forever been a one shot, and to modify that would be mess right up

The issue isn't that the AWP has one shot kills as it's been pointed out it is a .50 cal it's that it's way too simple to be used offensively. The interp functionality in the engine forever give the assailant the benefit, because he will be capable to see defenders first regardless of what sure this can be minimize by change network settings in game . Then you heap on fast scoping and a whole lack of accurateness penalty after landing from a jump and it just gets absurd. I can't tot up the number of times I've seen a player on the aggressive team buy an AWP and totally annihilate the defensive team by jumping around corner and quick scoping people previous to they could even see the guy on their screen

I don’t understand modify that to what no one has proposed anything up till now. Would you say it's "messed right up" to remove one hit kills to the arms? I'd speak you're messed right up if you do. The AWP has abundance of room for nerfing without ruining the game

The trouble with awp is, it can be extremely efficient in close ranges which contradict reality in place of nerfing, a price add to also may fix the problem, lets say 7000 dollars of price may balance it out

For your kind information The AWP is .338 lapua magnum, it is not .50 cal. in fact only the "super magnum" edition uses .338, the usual magnum uses .300 winchester magnum cartridges. moreover it's still a pretty huge round.
