Unable to continue playing L.A. Noire game in story mode
Recently, when I was playing L.A. Noire game, then accidently I saved the game over my last slot, and after that I am not able to continue playing with the remaining of the Arson cases. I really want to continue playing in story mode. Do any of you know how I can fix this issue now? Is there anyone who encountered with the same issue but later discovered a solution to overcome with this issue? Please, reply.

If I am not misunderstanding what issues you have, then I think you can resolve it by using the cases option which you can find in the main menu and there you can select the last arson case that you have played. I hope it helps you.

Here is a solution which can help you to overcome this issue. Actually this issue is not only with you there are several other people also who are facing this issue. To fix this, you will just need to go into game to delete all the replayed cases and after that try starting the story mode again from the beginning. In this way you have to reply the story mode from the beginning, but you will not lose your rank and badges after this. I hope this helps.

I am not able to understand what you just suggested to me. I am not able to get why I will require restarting the story and playing it from the beginning, if I have deleted the cases that I have finished previously. Can you explain a bit more?

As far as I know, according to the Rockstar games, if you will go back playing the case which was stuck before, then it will remain stuck. And therefore you will have to restart playing again if you really want to play the story mode. If you don’t want to start over story mode again then you have to compromise with playing individual cases, but with that you will never get progressed in that and you will not get to see something which is new.

Thanks for providing with that solution. You were right after I deleted all the replayed cases then I was able to play the story mode without any issues, but the problem is that now I have to play it from the beginning, that mean I lost all my progress in the game. However, I am now happy that at least I am able to play L.A. Noire game story mode again.
