What you think about the User Interface of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Hello friends, I have Played Skyrim which is the PC version for about 2 hours and now apart from the textures of weapons (which are pretty ****ing bad IMO) I'm enjoying it. On the basis of all the negative messages yesterday about the user interface, I was very worried it would be impossible to play. Maybe I'm just used to the console port user interface, but do not think it so bad! I got used to it immediately and feel that is a bit better than Oblivion (which I think is acceptable). And I do not know why people kept saying you cannot use the mouse, it works for me. Displacement, slip (although the scroll bars are better when using the keyboard) and equipment. The menus could be better, but overall I'm satisfied. Well, I learned you have to experience such things first hand before commenting. What do you think about it? Thank you.

I thought it was pretty crappy at first, but after setting the majority of mouse acceleration / smoothness of the issues and setting all my hotkeys I can get through it like a breeze, so it works well enough for its purpose. Unfortunately, we could have improved a little objective, but is better than both Morrowinds and user interfaces forgetfulness, especially if you consider that he had to console it.

I say that it is perfect because although it looks like a user interface console port, it is actually very quick to navigate - TONS oblivion faster than ever. If anyone feels that it is difficult to start using the keyboard to navigate. Now not even have to hit the mouse for most things you can use the arrow keys + r to most things. Do you know how long I was going through my inventory and know how much I wanted to leave, so do not over encumbered into oblivion? How to download the loot to a vendor? This user interface is at least 4 times more efficient than oblivion. I probably should not have voted perfect, because, honestly, would have been nice to have subcategories for clothing fabric and material terms of armor, but whatever. Someday I hope to make it easy so if you are a mage, it's easy for you to look only at the full armor and sell it, or if you are a warrior class, you can watch everything that wizard and sell be rapid.

Aside from not being able to rotate objects in my mouse / mouse wheel work well. More compact and smaller fonts would be nice though. Otherwise I do not mind the extra keyboard navigation, speeds things up a bit.

I hate using the mouse to click on things (which FO3 PIPBoy hated because of all the clicking I had to do), so I was very surprised to learn that more can be done quickly with the keyboard without having to raise hand WASD area.

Re: What you think about the User Interface of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
For me, the UI just feels horrible. I prefer to be able to change the size of the user interface, so you can still see part of the game world. I also like using the keyboard as the main way to navigate user interface. I prefer to use the mouse to point and click what I want. Also during character creation sometimes if you click to move your character. You cannot alter the slider unless you go to another section and vice versa. In general, I hope someone can redesign the user interface to include the text smaller and mostly use the mouse. Also possible to resize. Although I do not think that's possible.

Well, obviously the user interface has been made for a console game, but apart from that I think is good. I never liked the Oblivion UI cluttering my screen and kill all my experience in first person. The user interface is more stringent Skyrim to what is needed. I think the inventory control is what is needed are addressed.

It's weird. Sheet 'no' to enter "yes"? But then other times, after you're used to navigating with the keys, is launching a clickable yes / no box, usually when my cursor is on the other side of the screen. Not bad, because consolification. I do not care how the set menus. Navigation is so inconsistent and strange.

PC Games to play with a mouse and keyboard port or not. That is the same user interface console and PC is just a bad design. Having to remove my hand from the mouse when I switch from one weapon is unacceptable. I had to change to play with a controller, because the user interfaces. Although I have to say that the user interface works very well with a controller. I have no complaints.

From what we've seen, and even in the game to a friend of mine PC, mentioned problems with the UI, I conclude that this is not suitable for a PC. It is a user interface of the large console and PC user interface horrible. It's amazing, how could there not playtest this? And there is no indication that Bethesda is doing anything about it. No one (at least as far as I've seen) that the team has addressed this issue. I'm still waiting to leave work to go home and see what it would be like a team. UI also Morrowind was bad? Sorry, but the user interface is perfect for Morrowind PC. You have everything on one screen; you can check your stats, skills, maps, spells and inventory. And you can resize as you see fit. This is the user interface feels like a pain.

I quite like it. It took me a while to get used to it, but after a couple of hours just comes naturally. I have to say that although I am using a cable 360 to play the game and that may skew my opinion of this as I have not tried the keyboard, but the easy keyboard navigation is nice. I definitely like better about Oblivion, so gets a thumbs up from me. If everything went so smooth...
