Wireless Modem Router: Getting 1kbps upload/download speed

Getting 1kbps upload/download speed
I am in very critical condition. I am getting very very bad upload/download speeds around 1kbps. I scanned my computer for viruses, spyware, and trojans but found nothing. Also ran some internet speed tests but it resulted with errors. Is this ISP problem or something else?

Reboot/reset your modem, router or switch. Are you having only one computer or more? Are they also having the same issue? Could be the problem of your ISP also. Try to contact them and see if they can help you in some way. Did you checked the wires (if connected wirelessly then antennas), if they are working properly.

Thanks Rkhon,

I am having only one computer with me and tried reboot/reset my modem (not using router or switch) but it didn't helped either. I tried contacting the ISP but they were unable to solve the issue on phone and so they finally told me that they will send their person to fix it. Checked the wires and even changed them but still no go.

I was also having the same problem one month ago. I tried everything, this that. Finally the ISP's support team told that the modem (D-Link) is faulty. I took it to my supplier and he agreed that the modem was faulty. In short, the same thing could be in your case. Just check it with your supplier.
