How to export yahoo contacts to gmail
Hi,

Recently I have opened an new account on Gmail. Instead of creating a separate list of Contacts, I would like to Export the same from my Yahoo address book to my e-mail in gmail . is this possible ?? I yes, can you tell me, how to export contacts from yahoo to gmail ??

You can import address books from Yahoo contacts into your Gmail account easily. Importing your contacts isn't difficult, to import your Yahoo Mail address book, save your file as a Yahoo but it does take a few steps.

1. Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
2. Click on the Addresses tab, then on Import/Export from the right-side.
3. Scroll down until you see a button labeled Yahoo! CSV and click the Export Now button.
4. Save the file somewhere easy to find, the import it to Gmail and you’re done!

To export yahoo contacts to gmail export your address book as a Comma Separated Value (.CSV) file:

1. Click "Import/Export" in the upper-right corner of your Address Book. In the Export section, click the "Export Now" button next to the phrase "Yahoo! CSV:."

2. When prompted, specify a convenient location and name for your file in the "Save As" dialog box.

To import Gmail Mail account:

1. Sign out of the first account.
2. Sign into the other Yahoo! account.
3. Click "Import/Export" in the upper-right corner of your Address Book.
4. In the Import section, select "Yahoo!(.CSV file)" from the pull-down menu.
5. Click "Browse" to locate the .CSV file you just revised or exported.
6. Highlight the file and click "Import Now."
