How to turn off Norton 360 back up?
I use Norton 360 and I like everything it does for me with the exception of its backup feature, but it slows down my computer whenever i open simultaneous application, and therefore i want to know how to disable the back up so i don't have to do it again.I am running windows XP professional.
Thanks for your help.

If you're using Norton 360 version 2.0 this should help -
Go to Programming files, search for Norton folder, there you would get the Uninstall.exe or Back Up icon click on it you will get the view Details under "Things you can do" their you will get the option to TURN OFF BACK UP, and you will be found the solution.

Open Notepad and type
XCOPY /E/M/Y "C:\Directory I want to backup" "E:\Directory I want to backup to"
choose save as "Backup.bat". Use the double quotes when saving the file. This will save the file as a recognizable bat file, and run that file this will Turn off the Norton 360.
