No sound when streaming with flash videos on youtube, google, metacafe
Hi

Recently I have a problem with someone at that, I think is unknown.
When streaming filmkes in youtube and google video, etc I get no sound in the movies.

On google something about K-lite codec download, etc , and something about ccleaner, but they offer me no solution.

Someone who's already gone through this problem?

Which browser do you use? What happens if you try other browsers?

Here, already had the same problem as with slow internet connection. Reinstalling Adobe Flash solved the problem however ... http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I even tried with firefox and ie, but both gave the same problem.
The reinstall of the flash player I have tried several times.
It is a very strange problem.

Alright the problem is really the mapping of wave mapper in Windows registry as reported by one member of the forum. All you need to do is to open registry editor by going to Start menu, Run, typing regedit and then Enter. After that, in the registry editor, walk yourself through the tree in the left pane, till you reach

Go to My Computer \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32

And then on the right pane, right click and click on New, select String value, enter "wave mapper" (without quote of course), ENTER, type "msacm32.drv", ENTER.
