ppStream Automatic Update Fails
i am using ppStream since long to view a streaming audio video media based on BitTorrent Peer to Peer technology. But from past couple of days, it was prompting me upgrade PPStream program, viewer and engine to latest version. So when i try to automatic update, it just fails. What can i do ?

If you are using Vista, than you must be aware windows vista is not yet compatible with p2p softwares.so maybe thats the problem. Its the problem with many users. Sometimes the ppStream automatic updates fails but there is an alternate way. You can download and install the latest version of ppStream manually.

If you’re using Windows XP with SP2, you need to patch the limit of simultaneous TCP/IP connection of 10 to higher number, i.e. 100. As the ppStream will download media stream at optimum speed of about 372 kbps, so it’s best to have a faster Internet connection to have better experience. 512 kbps is simply not enough.

Thanks for the help friends. I would prfer to download and get the latest verion installed manually. Help appreciated.
