Windows Update Website Give Error message
Hello , I Have a liitle problem While Visiting the windows Website for Updating the Windows , When tried attempting to access the Windows Update Web site I receive this error message.

Quote:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\iuctl.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette

What Should I do To Solve this Problem please give Some Good Suggesstion thank in Advance

Hello , Generally this error means you got the wrong version of the dll installed. IE you are running XP and installed one for Win98 and the one for XP is slightly different. Sometimes this is a path issue and all you need to do is to copy (not move) the DLL and put it with the others in System32

Hello, just Check a similar Threads On our forum digeste.dll is not a valid windows image

Hello Here is the Solution Download new controls from http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.co...code/iuctl.cab and save them to your desktop. Follow the instructions below to extract the .cab file:
Right click on iuctl.cab.
Click "Extract to."
Indicate the location to which you want the file extracted and click "OK."
Go to the location you selected and right click "iuctl.inf."
Click "Install."
