How much time does Google takes to index a page
I have a site which was recently submitted to Google for indexing. Now I want to know how much time does Google takes to index my website? When will Google index my website? And will it index all the website all at once or will it take time to do so?

Google do take time for a new site to index. The time it takes for indexing your site may vary from 1 day to 1 month or even longer. It completely depends on your web site content and the coding part. If you have properly coded your website and optimized it then google will take less time and index your webpages sooner.

This is true that google takes longer time when compared to other search engines like Yahoo and MSN. The MSN indexes the websites very faster. This is because Google has more claws and rules that it considers to index your page and categorize your website in their results. On the contrary, the other search engines do not impose hard claws and simply indexes your webpages. Every URL submitted has to pass the quality checks in Google.

The speed at which Google will index all your internal pages will depend on different factors. A competitive keyword can also increase your indexing time. Always keep this in mind that Google indexes the homepage very fast. After finding the homepage, it goes for categories and then content.
