Information on IPSec Protocol
What is IPSec and for what the same is used for. It is used to defend a network from various network based attack. How that is possible. In my LAN I had found many Trojans. They were detected by a sniffer. I have a server running on Windows Server 2003. That means I can deploy this on my network. But I am not aware about the Group Policy settings of the same. I need some solutions and a overview of the same.

Re: Information on IPSec Protocol
IPSEc is an protocol which comes integrated with Windows Server 2003 OS. The Active Directory is used as the trust model service. In order to configure the Active directory you can use the Group Policy in order to set the different domains or websites or OUs (organizational units ). Then you can also assign IPSec policies which is needed to get a GPOs. The policies in IPSec configured in oder to meet the security needs.

You can use IPSec to defend against network-based attacks through a combination of host-based IPSec packet filtering and the enforcement of trusted communications.IPSec is integrated with then you can use IPSec to ydefend against network-based attacks through a combination of host-based IPSec packet filtering and the enforcement of trusted communications.

Re: Information on IPSec Protocol
The term IPsec (IP Security Protocol) describes a security protocol defined in IETF, which aims to secure the flows of IP. Among the security services there are particular to ensure data authenticity and confidentiality. These services are based on cryptographic mechanisms that confer a high level of security when used with strong algorithms.

The security is making the level of IP, IPsec can be IMPLEMENTED all network equipment and provide a unique means of protection for all data exchanges. IPsec can offer protection to applications that use the network (whatever they are and without having to modify them), protect access to a network by acting as a gatekeeper evolved serve to establish networks Virtual Private (VPN), secure remote access to an intranet ... Many suppliers now include IPsec in their product, which facilitates its deployment across a corporate network.

Re: Information on IPSec Protocol
IPSec is a type of protocol which is specially designed to give number of security options. The technology gives many options to to user to meets it needs. The same is suitable for all types of network. This technology aims to establish a secure connection (tunnel) between remote entities, separated by an insecure network like the Internet public to see, and do so almost transparent if desired. In article below, this mode is IPSec tunneling mode, which will be described first.
