Not max speed up to the Internet
Have problems with a computer that does not send a maximum of 6.80MB/s to 10MB/s. Other computers on the same connection can come up almost max.
Has run against Broadband connection / trimmed programs / updated driver NIC / checked everything!
think it is because the computer was not connected to the Internet when I put XP.
Would certainly get this if I blown it and add XP again but would prefer to avoid this.
The question then is how can I make their own adjustments in the registry, etc.?

How is your computer connected to the Internet? Modem? Router? Wireless?

Re: Not max speed up to the Internet
It is just a myth that we would get a faster computer just by blowing it. It is simple ignorance of users that makes nonsense spread even more. Test Tune-up Utilities available in a shareware version and there are all sorts of settings to be done to trim up XP / Vista and the Internet. Then I usually uninstall it because I just use it to scare up a little internet. Works cleanly, I would say. Good luck!

Do not read yet, but the problem is a bit on the way.
Jackson2 thanks for the tip on programs, also found this "TCP exchange".
