How to change the Firefox download location?
Hi there, I am having the issue with the download of the Firefox that is downloading on the default location and i wanted to change it to the another location so that i can take the download of the file on the location where i wish to. So help me finding the solution for the same i.e. How to change the Firefox download location? Waiting for reply.Thanks in advance

Hey this is very easy as you are using the Firefox you are getting the download on the My Document's Download folder which is is default location to change this to back to the another location you have to get into the option of the Firefox and then on the General tab and enter the location on "Save Files to" and you are done with the change of the download location

To make the changes in the Download location you need to go through the following step that is being discussed for the changing the location of the download. So just follow it and see the changes.

Start the Mozilla
Go to the Tools
Click on Options
Now jump to General tab
Here look for "Save Files to"
Default one is Download change it to desired location
Click on OK

I have gone through all the steps that you have discussed and achieve the same now can download the files from net to the location which i want. I am having one more issue. As i am surfing on the net i got the download manager window for the download which opens separately. I need to make the download of the file on the browser and not on the separate window. So help me to solve this.

You can use the Download Statusbar extension for the Firefox which are having the functionality to manage all the download of the file to the browser window only and not to open the separate window for the same. This gives you the detail about the download so that you can get the speed, percentage downloaded, time to complete download and many more about the file that you are downloading.
